Mitch Mahan joins JRG family, will lead 100.5 The Eagle

JONESBORO, Ark. (May 20, 2019) – A new, but familiar, voice has debuted on 100.5 The Eagle (KEGI-FM) in Jonesboro.

Jonesboro Radio Group proudly announces the addition of long-time market veteran Mitch Mahan to the staff. Mahan will take over live shifts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in addition to becoming the Program Director over The Eagle.

The Fruita, Colorado native has served nine years in the Jonesboro market prior to joining JRG this week. He also served for 10 years as Program Director for WIRK-FM in West Palm Beach Florida. In total, he has been in the radio industry for 40 years.

“Mitch Mahan is a programmer with many years of experience, and I can’t wait to have him in the building,” exclaimed Rob West, JRG Operations Manager and on-air personality for 104.9 the Fox (KDXY-FM). “I believe we will have a lot to learn from each other. Mitch will be live on Middays on the 100.5 The Eagle and bringing fun and new things to middays. I am very excited to have Mitch join the JRG family!”
