Many of our conversations with potential clients start with the client saying to us, “I think we need to advertise.” Surprisingly, our first question is, “why?”

You see, when you advertise, you need to have a goal. That goal should always be at least one of five strategies:

  • To raise awareness for your brand
  • To drive potential customers to your business
  • To promote sales for both new and existing products
  • To introduce a new product or service to the market
  • Or to differentiate your product from your competitors’

If you don’t design your advertising to accomplish one of these goals, then you might as well throw your money up in the air and let the wind blow it.
